Beth Hapgood describes herself as Charlie's cousin, collaborator, and friend, and the recollection always brings a smile as she recalls the hours of discussion she and "Charlie" would have over his "ah ha's!" She's shown here in her living room editing some of her work!
Her house, a typical Massachusetts bungalow, is somewhat rambling and deceptively roomy, and is as interesting as any you'll ever see.
When one steps through the door they are immediatly greeted by rows upon rows of shelves that cover the walls .. every one filled to the limits with an amazing collection of books.
Certainly a researcher's paradise!
When I was writing, The Gods, Beth would send me dozens of those wonderful books and I'd spend days and weeks studying them, almost fearful of the day they'd have to be returned.
